Lebanon — Supporting Families Forced to Flee
Across Lebanon, displacement camps continue to fill with families escaping conflict and instability. With limited resources and uncertain futures, many struggle to meet even their most basic needs. Our emergency response focuses on providing essential supplies so families can endure displacement with dignity.
Gaza — A Crisis of Unprecedented Scale
Gaza is experiencing one of the most severe humanitarian emergencies of our time. Tens of thousands of lives have been lost, and nearly two million people have been displaced. Food shortages, overwhelmed hospitals, and the lack of clean drinking water place countless families at daily risk.
Through coordinated efforts and access via the Rafah crossing, Salam Charity and its partners have delivered critical aid, including:
- Prepared meals for families inside Gaza
- Safe drinking water
- Baby essentials, including nappies and milk
- Medical supplies and hygiene items
Beyond education, the program builds confidence, prepares children to transition into formal schools, and restores hope in uncertain circumstances.

Afghanistan — Earthquakes That Changed Lives Overnight
In October 2023, powerful earthquakes struck western Afghanistan, claiming 1,500 lives and affecting more than 114,000 people. Communities already facing hardship were suddenly left without shelter or security.
Emergency assistance delivered:
- 1,200 hot meals
- 265 hygiene kits

Libya — Flooding and Immediate Response
Storm Daniel devastated eastern Libya on September 10, 2023, resulting in thousands of deaths and widespread destruction of homes and infrastructure. With rescue services stretched beyond capacity, rapid humanitarian intervention was essential.
Support provided:
- A Zodiac rescue speedboat with Yamaha engine
- 1,014 medical supplies and two refrigeration units
- 100 sanitary kits
- Financial assistance for six affected households
Turkey & Syria — Earthquakes and Ongoing Recovery
The February 2023 earthquakes across Turkey and Syria resulted in more than 55,000 deaths and left survivors exposed to freezing conditions without adequate shelter. Salam Charity teams mobilized quickly to provide emergency relief.
Aid delivered:
- 6,000 hot meals
- 6,500 food packs
- 40 emergency tents
- 8,000 hygiene kits
Pakistan — Floods That Reshaped Communities
Historic flooding in September 2022 swept through Pakistan, destroying livelihoods and leaving millions without access to safe shelter or healthcare.
We provided:
- Emergency medical care for 3,600 people
- A specialist clinic supporting 297 mothers and children
- 500 food packs
- 150 tents
- 300 hygiene kits for mothers and children
- 100 first-aid kits
- 700 mosquito nets

COVID-19 — Standing With Communities in Crisis
During the global pandemic, Salam Charity continued to support at-risk populations through preventive and emergency measures.
Our response included:
- 100,000 PPE items
- Sanitization of 1,000 tents and homes in refugee camps
